Questions

Do I keep my own number?

Yes. Your customers ring the number they always have. Your phone just diverts the calls you don't answer to your Ringback Mate number. Most UK mobiles and landlines can do this, and we'll check yours when we set it up.

What happens when I do answer?

Nothing changes. It only steps in when a call goes unanswered or you're already on the phone.

Will customers know it's automatic?

It keeps things short and writes the way you do. If someone asks whether it's a real person, it says honestly that it's your text assistant and that you'll get back to them yourself.

What if it gets something wrong?

It sticks to what you've told it about your services and area, and never quotes prices or books times on its own. You can read every chat, take over at any point, or pause it.

What about my customers' details?

We only use them to answer the enquiry, follow UK GDPR, and sign a data processing agreement with you. Chats are deleted after 12 months with no activity, and anyone who texts STOP gets no more messages. See the privacy notice.

How do I cancel?

Give 30 days' notice by email. Switch the divert off on your phone and everything goes back to how it was.
